Dia dos namorados, é preciso um?

Já é sabido que o dia dos namorados me passaria incólume se não fosse pela vermelhidão de tudo (cor da qual até nem gosto muito) e coisas em forma de coração por todos os lados. Não se trata de ter ou não alguém, nunca festejaremos esse dia à minha vontade. Trata-se de relatar o meu sentimento de pena pelas pessoas que sentem a obrigação da troca de prendas, jantar, viagem ou qualquer outro tipo de manifestação de compromisso neste dia e a espera ansiosa que ele chegue. Não é tão ridículo? Tão desnecessário se o fizerem noutras alturas, em muitos outros dias? E a falta de brilho nos olhos dos casais nesse dia?, o ambiente pesado da obrigação? E eu sei que esta manifestação de desdém é quase tão escusada como o próprio dia dos namorados, não fosse pela música e pela necessidade de dizer que vou passar o dia com alguém que, como eu, ama os amigos, os/as seus/suas homens/mulheres, a família, a vida, todos os dias! Vamos dançar esta?, nós, os ENAMORADOS?
